The creamy mac and cheese you like on the out of doors is encased in a crispy flavorful shell. The mixture of flavors/textures is amazing.

I like to dip mine in a generous quantity of marinara. Ranch is awesome with those too!

Ingredients

  • 4 Eggs Beaten and Divided
  • 4 Cups Cooked Elbow Macaroni
  • 2 Cups Cheddar Cheese, Shredded
  • ½ Cup Sour Cream
  • 4 Tablespoons Butter
  • ½ Teaspoon Salt
  • 1 Cup Whole Milk
  • Flour & Seasoned Breadcrumbs, For Dredging
  • Peanut Oil, For Frying


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 °F. Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish. prepare dinner and drain macaroni in line with package instructions.
  2. In a massive bowl, combine cooked macaroni ,cheddar cheese,2 eggs, bitter cream,butter salt, and milk.
  3. Bake for 35-forty five mins.
  4. In a massive dutch oven heat peanut oil to 350 levels F.
  5. shape mac and cheese into balls then dredge in flour, 2 eggs, and bread crumbs.
  6. Fry for 1-2 minutes on every side till golden brown. Drain on paper towels earlier than serving.
